Hi! We’re Maureen and Daria, founders of California Mahjong House.

We started playing Mahjong in 2025 and were instantly hooked, not just on the game, but on everything that comes with it: the aesthetics of a beautiful tabletop, the tactile clickity clack of the tiles,  spending time with friends and the fun of learning something new.

As our love for the game grew, so did an idea. We wanted to create a beautiful space where people could experience mahjong tiles, racks and accessories in person and have a home base to learn and play the game.

So, California Mahjong House was born.
