Learn American Mahjong
Whether you’re brand new to the game, curious about what all the Mahjong fuss is about, or looking to sharpen your skills, we’ll meet you where you are. Our lessons are taught in a fun and supportive way, alongside players at a similar skill level, so you can learn, build your confidence, and enjoy playing the game.
From understanding the tiles and reading the NMJL card to doing the Charleston, developing strategy, and playing a complete game, you’ll leave knowing how to play Mahjong!
Choose Your Pace
We offer a 4-Week Beginner Series or our 2-Week Accelerated Beginner Series. Both cover the same core curriculum, but the 4-week format allows more time between classes to practice, absorb what you’ve learned, and build confidence as you go. The accelerated series covers the material on a more condensed schedule for those who are short on time.
Both courses are taught by experienced instructors and include two complimentary open play sessions to build on what you’ve learned and keep your Mahjong momentum going.
